New member with stock '87 GN and small problem. The struts that support the hood no longer can keep the hood open. Car has 9500 miles and I have had it for about 8 years. Are they gas struts or air struts, or what. Thanks.

They are gas struts.

Old school.. this chat room has been around since the 90s. Usually the same suspects in there and we're all crotchety and ill but everyone is welcome.

Was 18 on last night. This can vary considerably.

You need to stick around more than a couple minutes.
That gives us a change to move from what we are doing to say Hi.
By the way I miss the lingua franca.

If I am not out on the road, then it takes a bit of time before I respond.

There are a number of G00D people on there.

Sometimes just to shoot the bull other times good info.
