My dad and i need a motor to get my little brothers car running. We just need to get the car running so we dont need anything special. Just a good running 307 to replace the blown 307 thats in it. Dont want to spend the money to ship so local is best. Thanks guys! -----Jeremy

That would be the Olds 307", VIN code "Y" (8th digit), 5.0 liter.
An Olds 5.7 liter in a similar year full size Olds would bolt right in also.

Accessories would be the same as well? If so, I could use that as well. Just want a simple unbolt and bolt everything right back in. Thanks!

too bad your not closer i have 4 86-87 442 engines the are the BIG 180HP roller cam engines

HAHA, yeah the BIG 180HP!!! Gotta love those slowmobile engines! I think my dad is set on finding a 350 olds to throw in there. We looked it up on oldspower.com and it is a direct replacement motor so why not! Just have to find one now.
