That works if your goal is ultimate driveability and not the most horsepower at any given moment. I like to know it's all there when I want it, so I just wonder if anyone has done runs at the strip or at a dyno back to back to see if max hp was affected. It's a question that I couldn't find an answer to by searching, so I will take your advise, and go to the dyno or strip myself after getting one and try it. If it does affect peak horsepower at all though, then I'm not using it on the street either. Again, just different goals and not poo-poo'ing. I'm quite glad it works for part throttle applications.
