My buddy and I made these today. He pretty much did all the machining and welding. I cut the tubes. haha. CNC cut out the plates w/ a little different of a design then the others. Saves 15 lbs!!

If you started selling those for a reasonable price I'll be first in line.


The ones that some vendors sell are obscenely priced.
 
Ide love to start making them but for the cost of materials and time it costs to make (about 2-3 hours) you cant really beat the vendors prices by much. I think they are about $80. I just wanted to make my own.
 
Looks great and getting a compliment from Turbofabricator tells it all.

I had a feeling what we were paying for those was not too bad. Cool though that you can say you did them. :cool:
