Give me back my dipstick & i will think about it !
Chicken better to let sleeping dogs lie, Things are once again peaceful here. Sometimes the best way to deal with problem people is to completely ignore them. Lets not invite this terrible scourge back.Maybe if you PM the dipstick, he will come back to you. But last I heard, he'd dumped his GN for a Supra and was learning how to drift in hopes of grabbing a spot on Fast and the Furious 5.
I would love to have an original big block nova again or a 70 chevelle BB. or that 409 chevy bubble top that you see the engine picture of.Nice website LOU! DO you miss the Nova or Vette? Both looked awesoem. My first Muscle car was a 73 Nova with a mild 355.

I know that sometimes people joke about other people, even myself, but in the best interest of this section and this forum I don't think that it is a good idea to talk about somebody when they are not here to defend themselves. Best to let sleeping dogs lie.
My bad...didn't know he was booted again.
He and I get along....he knows I'm just funnin' with him whenever I start doing the Chicken dance.
Apologies.
Back to the new Turbo Lou website....I like it.
Gary I started my career in 1962 & have worked on owned & raced many different makes & models.Nice site Lou I didn't know that you raced corvettes and novas. hmmm
Mike I got interested in turbocharging back in 73, That 65 Chevelle eventually got a TT 350 Chevy. using a holley carb & home made alky injection.I also experimented briefly with a TT 396 in that 23 T roadster in 1975 & got laughed off the track & was told turbos had no place in drag racing. I wonder what those skeptics would say now. When the Grand National hit the streets with all the latest technology back then that changed everything. When I started my career in 62 alternators, disc brakes, electronic ignition etc. hadn't been invented yet. At least not for automotive use.I like the Car Craft story on that cutting-edge, Nova. It said that you were the first one to see if a turbo-6 muscle car would work. Hmmmmmm.
I wonder if GM reads Car Craft Magizine and got a crazy idea to try a ...
Hmmmmmmm. Ya know, it's quite possible that Papa Lou is the indirect father to our Turbo Buicks, in a dead beat, sperm donor, sort of way.
I never thought of my GN as a Polish car, but now I might have to reconsider.
