Im impressed!!!!!

One of the weak points on those trucks is the drive line....ouch!

I've seen owners take off the front drive train and only use the rear.......saves weight and broken parts ....... :)

I think that was the Sy/Ty event here in KC last weekend or the weekend before. I didnt make it out to the track (KCIR in those videos), but we went ceeping through the hotel parking lots in the GNs. :-P Nice trucks!

Yes, those were taken at the Nats in KC this year (I missed it this year dammit..). BTW....The 10.16 run is posted in the Syclone/Typhoon section of this board. :)

The front drive shaft breaking vid was someone doing a burnout with the drive shaft still installed.. They supposedly thought it'd be cool at the time. DOH.. The way to do a burnout in a Sy is in my sig. :D

That Syclone ran somewhere in the neighborhood of 10.5 at last year's SyTy Nat's and was for sale in the pits for something like $65,000 USD. I wonder what they want for it now?

Whats up Myclone!!! Don't feel bad.. I couldn't make it either.

Watching that second vid just makes me think of a bone snapping. damn.

I heard eons ago it was for sale in National Dragster or the like for ~40k. Then I heard later the price was closer to ~80k.. Dunno for sure as my bud hasnt dropped off his old mags he gives me to read in quite a while so I havent seen the add myself. I met the owner(s) when I stopped by PTE (Hey Patrick :) ) on the way to the nats last year. Nice buncha fellows those Hoovers.. I just wish my Sy was as clean on the outside as theirs is under the hood. :o

Yeah it's a very nice truck and they seem like very nice people the little I saw of them in the pits at the '02 Nats. Still an absurd price for the truck though. Maybe having Tony and Nolan as friends skews my judgement. ;)

I made it there this year but left before either of those videos were shot. We left after watching the skateboarder race the razor scooter down the entire 1/4 mile. Too hot and muggy that day!

bob

riding the razor down the track seem like a fun idea... right up until i hit the 1/8th mile mark....

that little display kicked my a$$.....

but i guess it paid off awhile later when i actually RAN a 1/4 mile to win a $2500 tranny.
