Like I said before... flow-matching is an old subject and its merits have been long proven. To debate this topic here is silly. If you do not believe the Siemens spec call them yourself.

So were alot of wives tales taken as fact when they're slowlyy falling apart under close inspection.

Hmm, seems like your being more evasive the repling with fact. You quote something and then when asked for further documention about what your quoting, you go to the blaa, blaa, blaa routine.

In Artillery they have a term, Range Probabile Error.

Given enough testing you'll find some errors. In tests firing 10,000s of rounds under a given range of conditions, 99.999230492349 % (randonly selected number) of a given lot of ammunition will spec to a given, BUT there are always *FLYIERS*. So if you test enough injectors long enough yes, you will find a flier. But by they same token, a good injector can instantly fail at any moment. Long odds but it can happen.

And what do you want to quote as a cylinder to cylinder variation as being tolerable?.

Bruce,SHUT UP.Your just trying to start an argument. I know your very talented but do you actually think you know more than Jack/Racetronix??? If so you need a brain transplant as well or need to hurry up and die(got that one from Jesse aka Intercooler):D

A disussion is not an arguement.
He made some claims, and I'm just asking for clarification. And expressing a different point of view.

Judging from your comments, your the one trying to start an arguement. Which I'll refrain from participating in.

Like I said bruce I know your very talented but who do you think knows more,Jack or yourself??? He actually owes no explanations to you or anyone else. And you dont think your trying to start an argument??? Like I said if you think that it brain transplant time. Anwser the question whos more knowledgeable, you or Jack????

I think Jack can answer own his own if he want to. No reason for you to start a war. Attacks on a personal basis serve no purpose here.

Would appreciate if you would not continue with this here.

I see why Intercooler didnt like you. Ive respected you alot even put my wide band sensor where you put yours but you are starting an argument with Jack.Telling him he better back his statements up and not just throw em out there.

BTW never did anwser the question who knows more about injectors you or Jack???

ILBCNU6,
I mean a stock ecm without the driver upgrade.
But 9's with the driver is pretty damn impressive.

I have seen flow matching in some brands where it was a must, there is a huge difference from one to another. In other brands they are so close they it may be a waste of money. There are some other issues to consider. Bruce brings up a good point, the manifold and heads have radically different flow from hole to hole. Maybe we NEED bigger injectors for the air rich ones? We used to put the biggest injectors in the back for this reason. I often wonder If there is a consistant 10% difference in 50lb injectors who gets the 47.5LB set and who gets the 52.5LB lb set? My experience when I had my flow bench is that even though this differece exists it is not common at all in the quality brands.

Well, after actually doing some research, Accel claims they're injectors are +-1.5%. MSD within 3%.

Then I wrote Ken about the 60s, and in a batch test all were within 1%, and the *flier* was 1.34%.
