I wasn't able to find any good pics of the car...but I did find another pic of the driver...he seems like a happy fellow.

Atleast the father of the 15 year old girl can sigh some relief that Opie won't be around her after this.

Saw this on the news. Unbelievable is all i can say. Was doing some digging online of still pics of the wreckage...and in the process found a pic of the driver:

Probably trying out for the part in the new Night Rider coming out at a theater near you. He would have been a shoe-in if he didn't say go go gadget airbag before he hit the bridge.

That wasn't a firebird that was a Toyota Camry with a stuck gas pedal.

Dumbest part of that was the newscaster and apparently police at 1:20 of the news report and I quote "according to witnesses the driver was going well over 100mph. Troopers say they are now investigating to see what role if any speed played in the crash."

So officer your saying it wasn't his speed that caused this but but that fact that someone put a concrete pillar there and he had every intention of driving over the bridge and not directly through it.:biggrin:
