that looked a lot like the crash test that Mecedes (or Volvo or BMW- whatever. all those Euro companies blend together in my brain) was using in their ads a few years ago.
they actually failed the test, but they used it in the commercial and made it somehow seem like the mere fact that they put their car thru the test in the first place made their car safer than the other cars out there.

Thats the 40mph offset crash test...Hardest test to pass.
Here is a nice test result from the 97-05 GM Minivan...Trans Sport/Montana/And whatever Gm called it...

Every car in the Acura lineup is 5star crash rated,Only Manufacturer to have the entire line rated that High.
I wouldnt drive that old Civic in the video posted above though.
