I was digging through my tool box yesterday and found one of my old ATR chips, part #HP148A1. It's been so long since I ran the chip, I can't remember any specifics about the chip, F.P., boost settings, converter lockup, octane requirements, etc. I think it's a strip chip?? Does anyone have any info on this chip?

Also, is ATR still in business?

Thanks,
Martin

They are no longer in business.

Going from some old notes that I have..... That was one of their 'strip' chips. WOT timing was 32* under 5,000rpm and 30* above. Boost was supposed to be around 20# in all gears. The fuel pressure should be 43-45# with vacuum line off. T/C lockup is 42mph cruise and 50mph at WOT. Rev limiter - 6375rpm

With that much timing, I'm sure that it would need 110+ octane.

Hope that helps.;)

Thanks a lot for the replies.

I've been away from the TR deal for a few years, my memory isn't what it used to be. I just purchased another '87 GN for my son so we're back into the learning curve again. lol

Thanks again,
Martin

I got one in my '86 GN that has a little sticker reading "36 MM" which works good. I found another one in the glove box but doesn't work at all and they called it "Street Booster". Any info on those?

IMO

if you have to "I.D" a chip it's time for a new one from Turbotweak
