chip updates: how much $?

how much do chip makers charge for updates to their chips?

for example, if I add a v4, replace my mufflers, add alchy, higher stall converter, etc, etc, etc?

I know everyone is different, but what are some ball park prices?

Am I not seeing the forest for the trees? Seems like we will need to have our chips updated every few months...

I understand that not every mod will require a chip change, but it seems like a PITA...for both parties...

Unless you do something drastic, that really isn't true. Change injectors, yea. Change heads, yea but for smaller mods, it's really not needed.

030over,shift kit,
ported throttle body and plenum,other usual mods.
using reds93,and pitbull chip.
coming soon:strip chip,alky kit,cas v4,7th inj. kit,
higher stall conv.(2800),traction comp.!

you guys think i should upgrade my chips?
or get a new one?
