I bought this from someone on this board who is local. its overcharging and now "this person" (no names) wont return my calls. so im selling it for parts or repair. one thing tho it spins real nice. but it was pumping out like 17volts.
so im selling it for half of what I paid for it and taking the loss.
sold AS IS WITH NO RETURNS.

Looks like a stock alt. with a chrome housing. If you like it, just core out another alternator and swap the regulator out. Not hard at all to do.

I just bought a junk yard one and called it a day. so I have no need for this one
 
Was it for a 16 volt system? I know a few guys who went 16 volt years ago. Not on Buicks, but other Pro Street cars.

im not sure. all i know is that my car started going crazy and the volts light was flickering. scanmaster read 16-16.5v
