Ck billet servo install

got CK's billet servo today. Looks like I will have to grind pin 3/16-1/4" to install retaining ring. Is this common to have to grind this much or have I assembled something wrong?

sounds like alot .install the cover and check if the output shaft is locked in 1 direction without grinding.

I can still turn output both ways with servo cover installed and pushed down as far as I can. I can take the cover off and manually push the pin in and the shaft will firmly lock in one direction, so something must be keeping the cover from seating.

Did you leave out the parts stated in the instructions?

Yep, left out 16 thru 22. If I take off the oring, it will go in all the way. Do I need to apply more pressure to squeeze in the oring?

Chris, I put the trans on the floor, lathered the servo and the bore with vaseline and put all my 230 lbs behind it and it popped in. Thanks.

BE SURE THE O RING SEALS THE COVER.:biggrin:

I hope you installed the oring over the cover, not before the cover.

installed oring per ck's instruction sheet, air check shows everything working ok.
