I am about to install one of cris's shift kits after reading the install instructions he seems to advise modified accumilators with no springs on high hp cars 500 plus ..my question to anyone doing that with his kit how are the 1 2 shifts 2 3 QUALITY,I also use his big int servo ..THANKS

I guess all the TB trans experts are working hard (must earn a living)

I just put one of his kits in and I thought it said with higher HP cars use the add'l helper springs in the accumulators. The shifts are fairly mild with the helper springs at speeds just around town. I hope I didn't read it wrong.

One spring goes under the piston and the other spring goes on top of the piston meaning the blue spring is a shim spring is that the way you have it

Yako, I did install the smaller blue springs and I'm pretty sure in the correct position. I did want firmer shifts so that's why I installed them but it sure didn't give me firmer shifts.
