Clunk in rear...

Almost sounds/feels like it doesn't have the limited slip additive...since i am new to the tta's, thought i would see if their were any known problems, car gets very mad when tight-turning..like my GN only tha has an Eaton so it's ok car is all stock

Change the fluid and put the posi additive.

If that doesnt help.. your in deeeep dooo dooo

where the hell did the additive go??? can it dry up? car did about 1k miles in 10 years...till i got it..i am so wanting to alky it, tryn to be good

Understand oil should be changed every x amount of miles or x amount of time. Thats why engine oil is every 3000 miles or 6 months. Becuase it picks up moisture.

The rear end only holds 3 pints. Thats right.. 1.5 quarts. Doesnt take much to kill that low of volume.

Pull the cover on the rear and wash it all out. The use Mobil 1 Synthetic and fill it up.

Doo Doo... means posi unit is damaged.. no parts are available

while your in there its not a bad idea to replace the rear diff cover with the TA performance one and ARP hardware
