Car has Translator + and DS. After doing some research last time I got the code I unhooked the DS ribbon cable from the ECM and the problem went away. Since then I got a shielding cable for the DS and installed it. I thought all was good, but was driving the car home to get it ready for the track tomorrow and the d$mn light came back on.

Can I put a stock MAF back on the car and bypass the T+ or is the DS cable going to give the problem anyway?

TIA, didn't wanna waste another day at the track.

Unhook just the spark part of the T+ and use the jumper. If that fixes it you may need to run a ground wire from the ecm sensor groung Pin 11 (I think from memory) out to the ground on the translator

Mike, thanks for the reply. When I first had the problem I used the jumper and Did NOT get the code under normal driving conditions. The light never came on at WOT either, but the car popped and missed all the way down the track.

I thought it was the DS cable, and put the shielding around it, but now it's back. I'll put the jumper back in and try a WOT pass tonight and see if that cures it.

Forgot, will putting a stock MAF back on the car and bypass the T+ cure the problem or will I still have it as long as the splice to the ecm is there?
