Can you show the documents proving its at a much higher mileage than what was said?
Yes, I have it, I can send it via email to anyone who wants to see it. You can also see the original mileage on the car he bought it off from the board member here, he is shocked that 1fastcobra lied about the mileage and everything else. This car is still here on turbobuick site if anyone want to see it.

i guess it would come down to if he actually knew the milage (in writing). if he knew and represented otherwise than thata pretty shitty. hope it works out for you

Well if a member who sold the car to 1fastcobra said it was over 100k miles and then 1fastcobra sells the same car and advertises less miles, seems like a scam.

Why don't you post it right here? Was it an odometer roll back?

Dont send it or post it to anyone. If you get a lawyer involved he will advise the same. Odometer fraud is real. Cant tell you how many people that I knew that got busted (Jail time) for that. Thats like saying rolling back miles is legal.

Was the car listed for sale both times in this site? If so post the links.

1fastcobra, the thief, bought it off this site. He told me that he bought it from a friend out of state and it was never on this site. This, he lied, I have the title that the previous owner signed. 1fastcobra never registered the car, and it's still under the previous owner, which is an honest guy. So, there's only one ad on this site, look up pontiac6269, page 2, you will find his ad, you will see my question on the right side of the screen. The previous owner gave him extra parts that he sold to somebody else, the bum.

Ain't that some shit. Larry definitely showed 158,000. Definitely same car?

So on paper 1fastcobra never legally owned the car since he never signed the title and presumably didn't give you a bill of sale. At the time of sale you could have called the prior owner(s) listed on the title and gotten more info, done car fax, etc. I typically do this when the seller doesn't have a lot of info about the car. It sucks you got burned but unfortunately you have little or no legal evidence that 1fastcobra sold you a car that he misrepresented. No bill of sale and no title with his signature. This should be a warning to anyone. Buyer beware. It's your responsibility to research what you're buying.

Stupid question:
So if the title was never in fast cobras name, and the title showed only 58,000 miles on it, then doesn't that mean that the person after Larry and before cobra did the odometer tampering?

sometimes its not tampering so much as ita the guys doing inspections etc. doesnt sound like the case here

The title was probably left blank

I could not do any research because the title was delivered with the car (I asked him to FedEx the title, he didn't) He's very shady person. I have emails from 1fastcobra selling his 87 Buick to me, his bank account number to deposit the money, how to pay the shipper, and he wrote saying this is a binding contract to keep everything legal for him and me. After I got the car, he changed his phone number. I have everything I need to start a case against him.

If you have the title with the incorrect mileage written on it and the bill of sale with his signature then you would have a very strong case. Without that I would ask an attorney if it's worth pursuing.

I understand what you're saying but if you look at the ad on page 2 the previous owner says 156,00 miles. 1fastcobra says in writing 58K original mileage. He is a FRAUD!!!!! If you look at the ad and figure it out, you'll know I'm right.
Yes it is, everytime I go to the DMV, they tell you to put exempt for any car that is 10 yrs or older.
