Compliment--or a little ricer??? (F+F movie related)

National Speed Inc(performance shop in my town) will be promoting the Fast +Furious movie here in our town today/tonight. The owner of the shop called me and asked if they could use my car as a promo piece outside the shop today and at the movie theater tonight. I agreed because one of my very best friends is the shop manager and has assured me he will be with the car at all times. I trust him 100% with the car.

I must admit i was a little excited/flattered at the request, but couldn't help but feel a bit ricer somewhere way back in the back of my head.

So what do you guys think---take it as a compliment for a very nice car---or should it make me feel a little ricer:tongue:

i saw the movie last night, the GN is done right I would say. It actually sounds like a GN and not a V8 like it did in the trailer. There was one instant where it sounded a little v8ish, but in general it sounded like a GN should. Show the car off BTW IMO the movie was much better than the other 3, and was enjoyable. You just have to set aside reality for a couple hours.

Something that gets lost in all the rice is, these movies usually have appearences by some good old Detroit steel. Yenko Camaro, or some old Mopar, ........I see the rice when I watch these movies, but there are always a couple of REAL cars there to make me drool. Heck, I'd have let them use MY car in the making of the movie (It's better looking anyway ) if they had promised not to kill it. Enjoy!

As long they don't ask you to put a ricer wing and fart can muffler on the car for the display it's a compliment. Congrats, that is very cool!!!
