Compression of 6.0L

I've heard everything from 9.0 to 9.6, for compression. It's out of a 2004 Silverado. Can anyone tell me definitively, the answer. Thanks, Chris

What series motor is it lq4,lq9 etc.....

Its an LQ4 motor. Just curious, because I am turbocharging it also, and getting ready to start tuning. Want to know how careful I should be with timing. Thanks, Chris.

The LQ4 has 9.4:1. The LQ9 has 10.0:1. I turbo'd my LQ4 as well. It's great for a boosted application!

I concur with kevin i have the same lq4 from a 03 denali for a 69 camaro turbo project
