(Computer ) OpenOffice help needed

I need some computer help.
I am trying to open an Excel document (VE Table utility. Re: Ttunerpro stuff) in OpenOffice and it opens fine, but when I try to use the utility I get an error msg:
OpenOffice.org Error
A Scripting framework error occured while running the basic script vnd. sun.star. script:Standard.button4_click?
Language=basic&location=document
Message: BasicProviderImpl::getscript:no script

Is there something I can do to the Macro to get it to work?
Is this a scripting language problem between Excel and OO? Fix?

Problem solved.
I updated to newer version of Open Office that handles VBA script.
