Thanks guys. It has been a long road over the years and it is nice sitting back and enjoying things going right for a change. I would like to make mention that none of this would be possible without the input from many over the years, those who have taught me things as I have went along. The only credit I can take is the work I put into the car here at home turning the wrenches and the electronics end. Paul Thompson, Dave Bamford, Cal Hartline have taught me much about tuning throughout the years and I'd still be in the help section without them.

Thanks to Dan Strezo at DLS for building a engine that goes round after round and something we can count on when push comes to shove. TA Performance for casting the most durable stock type aluminum head that ever existed period. We have 48 runs on these heads and they have not cracked or given us any problems so we can work on other things in our program.

I'll stop now with the rant, but I thought it was important to make mention that it is the input from others throughout the years that has been applied to our race program and they deserve the real thanks.

What were your best times this past weekend?

8.50 and 163+ mph. We all struggled with a unprepped track the last 660' and it was clear that there wasn't anything to be gained past the 1/8th. I had put a lot of time in the AMS-1000 to tame the car down enough to keep it hooked up to the 1/8th with a best of 5.50 at 131+ and was running consistent 1.3x 60' times.

I left the slips in the trailer so I don't have them with me. I think the ladder should end up being posted sometime soon with all the other times.

That's for sure! I learned a bit listening to Ted and Dennis B. talk about the RacePack setup he has in the car. No other way to describe the car other than attention to detail.

Congrats Ted. That track was bumpy at the end. I thought my wheels were falling off my car for a second. I could not imagine driving over that in an 8second car.

Ted won Cal but to be 100% honest you guys were not at the top of your game for either of those. I expect you guys will be back to being a very tough competitor at Cecil. When you guys are on, you are tough to beat. Hopefully we wil have a little something, something for you there. The PTC has not yet gone as fast as the old converter but the incrementals and other data say that there is no denying it flat out works. On a good track with good air like we had at Norwalk we will see the true potential. Looking forward to that run I have my video camera, it should be a classic.
