A re-stalled stock 12" converter will suck on the street with a 60 turbo.
A 10" or 9/11 converter with 3200 stall is what we have found works well with a 60 on the street and the track.
Local friend with a 60 on his GN ran a 10.90 with an Art Carr 9/11, and his heads were stock except for the valve springs.
So turbo 89 ? Your. Saying it will run good with the 2800?

What makes you think you need one?is the car lazy or do you want more response?do you have enough tire to take the hit of a converter that makes more torque?there are a lot of good converters for these cars now but you need to know what your looking for.d5s re stalled can run fast on stock combos as well.So have stock block stock heads on e85 80 injecters and te 60 turbo will mostly live in the street and highway. My TBPT 245mm 3021 HF Lock-up will be the correct converter for your car. Depending on some other variables, I can custom build the converter for optimal performance. The converter has a pump with a very positive fin angle which is not optimal. It will be very loose and will not couple in the used rpm of your motor. Slip will be excessive. So i had this converter in my garage will it be to much stall for my setup . i believe its tci functional lockup 10" stalls from 32000 its for the 200 or 7004rs .anybody had these and thoughts.
