Hello.

1987 GN.

I am looking for something that costs less then $450.

I would like something in a 10" 3200 - 3400 stall with l/u.

I have a PT52 and built 200r4 tranny.

My currenty converter is a 2800 stall modified D5.

Car is my daily driver.

TIA!

Yeah but Pat's aint bad either;)

i have a customer going in the 8s with a pats convertor for 2 1/2 years w/out trouble.i dont use them however that doesnt mean tey dont produce a good piece.pro torque is expensive but worth the money.look out for the ckperformance 9/11 coming soon.

I feel.. Genos is better then Pats but Steves steaks in NE Philly is better then both.. :)

Stop it!!!! You guys are making me hungry. I love Philly Cheesesteaks!

If I am ever in Philly, I will have one from all 3 of those places. I have heard of Pat's and Genos, but not Steve's.

I think it is all hype.

A cheese steak is a chease steak...

I had one today, as a matter of fact. I probably have one a week.

Chris, what stall do you recommend for a REAL daily driver with a PT52, 009's, 93 octane, alchy, stock G80, builty tranny?

3200, 3400, 3600?

absolutly NOT true.. The genuine Philly steaks are like no other.. trust me... There IS a difference..

WOW! the food hounds nearly robbed your post.

PAT'S converters are the only ones I have heard of for the price.

IMO the converter is not the place to go cheap. The old D-5 modified was a nice piece for a near stocker and for the money. Once you start upgrading a good (and usually expensive) converter is very important. Do a lot of research.
BTW, a stall on the street from the modified D-5 to say 3400 is big. You never really know how each converter is going to stall either until you try it. I have had $800-$1100 converters that were to stall at 3600-3800. One in particular would take the engine up to nearly 4000 RPM just to get my car on my trailer. I hated this on the street, though it ran well at the strip and a friend of mine ended up with it.
