If I was to swap a 200R-4 from a buick GN with a T-350 how much needs to change. I realize the crossmember and shifter but how about the driveshaft. I think there within a few 16th's of each other.

The T-350 would be a manual V-B so no need for kickdown or vacum.

i did not change drive shaft,, i still have the factory shifter to where my back-up lights work.. i just got another crossmember and welded a flat metal plate and drilled a hole to make it work... i like my 350 trans,, BUT on a long trip not to good but i do have a 3.50 gear too.

Don't they make a G-body with a T-350 factory to use the crossmember from?

My plan is to run the 200-r4 in the winter and through the summer. When Fall comes it's when I really like to be at the track most. I would like to swap in my T-350 with all hardened parts and brake and Race the end of the season.

Whats a 40 minute trip like with no overdrive once a week at most?

My Camaro has the 3.50 gear also. But I might be putting into a GN with a factory 3.42.

yes if can find a crossmember for a 350 use it,, i hade an extra 200r4 member here.. 40 min trip you going to run about 55mph, just seems slow running down the road when everyone passes you up...

Many G-bodies came with the TH200C 3-speed Trans which has the same Trans mount location as the TH350. So that Crossmember will also work.
