It is called the Slide Stop. Goes on a mil spec AR-15 and turns it into full auto basically

Yeah will not be long!

They only fit "MIL SPEC" A/R's.

It is SOOOOO much more fun than bumb firing. You can control it however you like.

On a semi-related note...

Shot my father-in-laws new Ruger SR-556 yesterday. It felt a touch heavier than my brother-in-laws Stag model 3, but it shot amazing! Sounds pretty damn wicked too.

Speaking of AR15's. My friends son was showing his loaded one off to a buddy in the house. Accidentily discharged it and went thru a closet door the outside wall of the house and into and thru the wall of the house next door. Got a visit from the state police! Ooops. Why he didn't have the safety on is beyond me. His old man came home from a cruise nite to find cop cars all in front of his house.

Accidentily discharged it and went thru a closet door the outside wall of the house and into and thru the wall of the house next door. Got a visit from the state police! Ooops. Why he didn't have the safety on is beyond me. His old man came home from a cruise nite to find cop cars all in front of his house.

Yeah that's bad news. We keep ours in the safe with the mag loaded, but sitting on a shelf. Not a good idea to have it in and a round chambered.

Why it was loaded is beyond me Mark. I do keep loaded weapons in the hose but in close quarters a shotgun is a much more effective tool in a building. My AR's have full clips loaded but nothing in the chamber. That's just stupid in a residential area. Sorry your friend had to go through this headache but I have a feeling he got lucky since it didn't hurt anyone.:smile:

Yeah, was pretty stupid of him. Cops ended up confiscating his arsenal for a bit and he has to go to court. Everything is legal, guess he just had a "stupid" moment.
