ok so my coolant light comes on during first 5 minutes or so of driving does this mean theres air in the cooling system if so how do i get it out

If this is on a supercharged setup, there's a few things that could be amiss.

Coolant level is low, coolant temperature sensor is going bad, or you might have air in the system.

To clear the air, there should be a bleed screw on top of the thermostat housing. Open that up and turn the car on, and as soon as it starts to spit water out, close it. You don't have to use a whole lot of strength to close it and don't force it or you could break off the screw, etc. etc.
