Coolant overflow tank leak?

Is it common for the coolant overflow tanks to leak on the Grand Prix?

I have a 97 GTP with 170K on it and it seems to be leaking form the area of the coolant tank. I'm sure its coolant because I keep having to add more every several days. It will only leak after I shut the engine off hot and let it set for a few minutes. Then the leak comes on from the frotn drive side, behind the bumper.

Are these tanks hard ot replace?

a lot of people swap to the 99+ newer coolant tank to give them more room for custom intakes

if you have a bad one you may want to do it now

It appears to be a pretty straight forward repair.
Move the brace and air box out of the way and then R&R the tank, correct?
Is the low coolant sensor in this tank also?

Yep that's it, but as posted above I would recommend upgrading to the 99+ coolant tank. I did this for my 98, which allowed for better airflow, and allows the capability of installing an intake at a later time. Yes I believe the low coolant sensor is on the tank towards the bottom.
