Hi Guys,
I was going to upgrade my tranny lines after smashing one at BG(installing a new vigilante, I fixed it with a coupler). So I thought that I would go to a 3/8" rubber hose and add another tranny cooler, take the radiator out and upgrade that to a "F" body.... So I replaced the radiator, added another trans cooler to the exsisting external trans cooler, (one above the other before the radiator, but attached to the new F body radiator). But the rubber hose and the cross over pipe and the down pipe won't mix to well, I'm afraid. What is the best way to acomplish this mission, stay with the exsisting stock lines(they look small and restrictive)? Buy $$ stainless steel braided lines (and not worry about the exhaust pipes)? And finally, is two external oil coolers a overkill? The oil cooler for the engine oil is out and on a stack of (other) stock parts.... I was going to run with out it, thinking if the coolant is 165-180 then the oil can't be much warmer then that....
Thanks,
Chuck
