I have an 85 T type and was wondering if an alum core support of of a 80 regal will fit.

yes it will, though it may require slight modification of the headlight buckets if I remember correctly.

Yep, the 2 holes for the header panel supports will have to be redrilled but you will figure that out when you go to bolt it up.
