anyone knnow how much altitude affects the stall on a torque converter? i am currently at a 6000 ft elevation. how much of a change would i get going to sea level say with a current 2400rpm stall?

now a header leak will effect a converters stall by lowering it, correct?

I don't think the altitude affects stall directly, it's affected more by power, so any difference you would notice in the stall at sea level would be from the extra power from your motor.

I don't think it will affect the stall. At altitude, however, you have less air molicules per a given amount (cubic foot) of space so it will take more stall to spool your turbo up here than at sea-level. The last time I was at the track the barometer was 23.41 - or around 20% lower than a standard sea-level day.
