Crank ate bearings, turbo ok?

Got some small copper pieces in the oil, filter had some in it too when I cut it open. Could it have gotten to the turbo and damaged it? Ran fine last time I drove it. Is there anyway I can check the turbo without having to send it off? Thanks.

my 54 looked ok when we tore my friends motor with the piece of crap modern musclecar budget roller cam down, but come to find out the bearings were toast in the turbo.

another $450 down the drain

So do you think the bearings in the turbo were toast because of metal in the oil getting to it?
