Need the dimension for the crank thrust to thrust surface. My crank has some thrust wear and iirc my machinist told me it is up to 1.070 in diameter. He was figuring that if I put it back together with a new bearing I would be sitting at .011 thrust clearance but these were just some guesstimates over the phone. This isn't accounting for any material I take off in polishing the surface which he said wouldn't even take off .001

Is the crank trash or is there a work-around?

Well it looks like I found perhaps the only option, the clevite ms-1747p bearing set that is for .020 under on the journals with a .010 oversize thrust surface. Wish they had a std or just a .010 over bearing instead of .020.
