i think he is saying there is no gain with it tapering down like that but when you remove the tappered down part there is a gain.

I just did this mod too (plus added walbro 340 and hotwire ) and seem to feel a difference in how the car performs.
Now my question is, am I really gaining anything yet if I am still using the stock 28 lb injectors ? (maybe I should move this question to another thread)

lol sorry here is a picture of what im talking about.This is a good upgrade as well. I went with Racetronix ground upgrade kit for mine but this way i think is even better. You need to make sure you have a good ground. There is a huge increase in power with a good ground.
