Beat one already at the 2010 TB.com nationals! Street tire for street tire I had him covered all the way down the track with a little TE44, 20lbs boost, Alky, and a wasted converter! They taste like chicken!!!

ummmm.. have you looked at half the cars on here that are "built up" ?? I am not afraid Got a Buick here that would prob beat most of the 2013 Shelby's But at the end of the day I would still have a GT 500 thats worth $50k BUT the Buick with $50k tied up in it will only be $15k on a good day IF ya can find someone with the $$$

Ford is definately on top of the market. I'm not a fan of any of the new Chevy's or Mopars. Even though I really dont like Fords at all, if it came to buying a new muscle car, I'd buy the Mustang any day. Chevy came in way too late while Ford came out in 03 with a BANG when they introduced the Supercharged Cobras. They are also rocking in the family sedan category with the Turbo 6 Taurus. And Ford didnt take the government bail out like eeryone else did. Thanks for being truely American Ford! The new Mustangs look SICK!

With 663hp out of the Ford wrapper on the '13 model, it may pose a bit more of a challenge!

It has more horsepower than the one I raced in Burlington but that one had well over 500hp and he spun like crazy on his street tires and I didn't, He had a manual trans & I didn't.... That is what won that race several times down the track! More horsepower don't actually mean much with radial street tires and manual shift, there are lots of variables when it all comes down to it... If your 25 yr old Buick is set up and you know how to drive it on street tires then you have a very good chance of beating those massive HP, Massive expensive mustangs!!

I have to give it to ford for producing some killer, mean looking mustangs with crazy horsepower! They still taste like chicken! LOL
