Delco freedom battery

I need a new battery. The cold winter already got to mine. I really wanted to keep the delco freedom battery which belongs in the car but I can't seem to find one. I have heard that ac-delco might have stopped making them. Now they make a professional series. I am confused. I see there is a 60 series and professional series. I am looking for the most original looking/shape and size battery.

actually ac-delco isnt making batteries any more. stores are seling off their stock. see if pepboys and murrys still have them on thier shelf. i had them on my shelf (pep boys)for a while but the same thing here people wanted to keep the gn original. the group size is 75. my gn came with a optima and is still going since 2002 so i will keep my optima red top.

Not true. Delco is still making and selling batteries. Those stores might just not be selling that brand is all. Go on line to AC-Delco and find a distributor in your zip code. Since it sounds like you are looking for an original type of battery I would recommend the 75-6YR or 75-7YR. The only difference is the CCA.

Thank You for all your help. I was able to purchase a 75-6yr professional at a local ac delco warehouse. Looks and fits very well.
