Did ATR ever make a traction bar set up?
Like boxed lower control arms with adatpers to reposition and lower them at the rear, then cad plated.
Or did someone else make something like that ?

ATR made their own stuff for a while and its exactly like you describe them.

Yes, it relocated the lower control arms where they bolt to the rear end housing lower to the ground. I had a set on my car many years ago. They made the car ride more like a truck. I took them off and sold them and just replaced the stock lower control arms with poly / boxed ones. All has been well with the boxed control arms.

I remember those, Funny looking metal brackets with forks. They only work on 10 bolts, I had 9" already,I do run ATR's stock height rate springs though,i need to find out there spring rate to order lowered springs, i want same stiff ride

Thanks for all the reply's, most likely Southsides sold by ATR, this car seems to have a lot of ATR stuff.

If theyre anodized, theyre not southsides.

Theyre not Southsides then. Southside painted theirs with black paint. The ATR stuff was nicer than Southsides.

I have an old set of the gold colored ATR parts. I took them off because the setup made the car dogtrack. The brackets didn't "sit" perfectly the same on both sides, efectively making the rearend crooked in the car. Kinda crappy if ya ask me.

The ATR relocation brackets worked godd IF installed and welded in place RIGHT. Kinda tricky without a magnetic angle finder. RJC still offers a similar system now. Southside bars worked good too.
