Dirty brake fluid in my PM.. what to do?

Hi all

I checked my brake fluid in my PM and the fluid looked dark & watery. I've been doing some brake test from... http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/images/diagchart.gif ...and it is bordering on replace.

Will a brake flush bring my PM back to life or should I replace it with a low mileage PM that I just got?

I would change the fluid before swapping the unit out.. does it work now?

Stops fine under normal driving condition... any panic or sudden stops feels like the brake pedal goes right to the floor!!! it feels soft!!!

Definitely change it, as brake fluid ages it absorbs moisture, which lowers the boiling point of the fluid, which can result in brake fade and poor performance. Do a thorough flush and see how it feels.
