disk space question

I have a 2004 laptop that has 52 gig total space.

my problem is it shows 2 drives C & D.

The C is always close to filling up. the D hardly has anything on it.

I am not sure if this is 1 drive partitioned or 2 seperate units

How can I get to be all one drive? or get stuff shifted equally or maybe I should just sell my antique

More than likely it is one drive with two partitions. Programs like Partition Magic can resize the C drive larger using space now used by the D drive. There are a lot of partition software programs available. Just Google partition software or you can probably take it to some place like Best Buy and get the drive resized.
