Do I must prime the engine???

Hi Guys; Recently I drain the oil from the crank and the oil cooler in the radiator,change both oil cooler hoses and filter.Also change the hoses and the filter of the Precision remote oil filter.Then put new oil in the engine,in the filter and in the hoses of the remote filter.I dont put oil in the oil cooler hoses.I want to know first if its neccessary to put oil in the oil cooler hoses and the oil cooler in the radiator?.Second its neccessary to prime the engine or just crank it with ECM dissconnected?

Just crank it with the ECM unplugged. Do you have a mechanical oil pressure guage? If so just watch it till you get 40 plus #'s..then u should be good to go.

when i changed all my stuff out i did what you have done so far. i would put oil in the upper oil cooler hose. then after you do this crank it over with the ecm un-pluged. wait till you get about 10psi then your good. plug the ecm and fire it up. when i did this i watched my oil pressure gauge it came up then went down like 5 pounds then came all the way up.
