Well i was driving out tonight to grab a bite to eat and out of nowhere at the very last second a deer seemed to just magically appear if front of the car. the good news is it wasnt the gn. bad news it wasnt my beater truck. I took my sisters grand prix cause currently both cars are out of commision. I like to think i was paying attention it just happend so quick. Has this ever happend to anyone? I completley fine just really shaken up. As for the car its not that bad i guess. Just suprised im still alive (not from the deer but my sister). anyway here are some pics.

i've come close to close but never grilled one. sister inlaw is good for 2 or 3 per year.. i have ben in a car at night just stopped for the stop sign and:eek: one ran right into the car door.

I have tagged 3 of them the first 1 was in a ford fiesta @ about 70mph, the second was with a friends 74 impala, then the 3rd one was on purpose with a co. big truck. all 3 were good eaten. just don't hit them to hard or it breaks all the blood vessels & ruins the meat.

I was driving through the desert out west when a mule deer jumped out in front of my freshly painted Caddy. It came from no where, I was pissed.

My daugther hit one Saturday night in my wife's brand new Jeep Rubicon. It just made a mark on the bumber and my daugther was fine. She said she got slowed down to about 20 MPH when she hit it. She did go back to look for the deer that night and the next morning but never found it.

Had a similar experience a year ago in my beater truck ('94 F350 4x4 - only 2 straight body panels and they aren't the roof and hood!) Was bringing take-out home, deer pops out, whammo! Giant cloud of fur, thumping from under truck. Stop truck, more thumping, deer runs off into woods. Release foot from brake, drive home. By the time I got in the door, I'd forgotten about it. Next morning I saw some fur on the license plate, but that was it.

When in high school one took out the header panel and grille of the family's '79 Caprice wagon. Another bent the license plate and bumper ever so slightly on the way to a movie in my Dad's '89 S10 Blazer.

it just happened so fast i mean i was able to slow down to about 30 or so before impact but I was so shaking up i didnt sleep that night. Btw this is the first accident I have ever been and i guess i am suprised thats all the damage that was done. I think if it was my car i wouldnt have minded, but by the looks of things those w bods are a pretty sturdy car. I went looking for the deer in my pick up cause I know i didnt do much to the deer probably besides break the hind legs. I would have like to have got at least some venisen out of the deal but oh well
