If so are they much brighter than stock, blueish, etc? I know ScotW sells a set.

Check Superbrightled.com. Type in your model, year and it gives you a full run down of bulb replacements in LED.

ive got them....they are nice and bright - match all my other "cool white" led lights... and like mentioned, superbrightleds has everything

but if Scot sells them and the price is right, support-a-vendor. superbrightleds.com is local to me ;-)

I couldn't agree more. Why not support the vendors who support this board and your hobby? Telling someone to go to ebay instead of a supporting vendor just fires me up

I wouldn't know.
I never go backwards.
I back up one time - to get out of the driveway.
After that - it's all forward.

It's the headlights that I need help with.
Wagons had strongers lanterns on them in the old west.
Thinking about that voltage booster for headlights only from...Casper?

x2, they have everything in LED.

Yes we do carry the 1156 LED reverse bulbs, along with the Rear LED taillight kit's and the NEW front LED marker/turn light kit and the LED 3rd brake light kit...

We are selling the "Complete" LED kit that includes Everything listed above and also the 2 Electronic LED flashers for a discounted price of $537.95

One thing to be careful about buying just any LED's is that there are all kinds of brightness's and with some like the High Power bulbs there is heat to think about, there are all kinds of bulbs with Different angles, Etc,Etc...... At one point we spent $300 on a bunch of LED bulbs looking to put together a interior lighting kit but after doing my bench testing to find the right LED bulbs that put out the correct lighting for each intended area and the heat was also tested so none of them would melt anything, I called in to place my order and those bulbs were already out dated and they had a new style out So I s*$t canned that idea because those companies change the bulb styles constantly. That's another thing to think about.....

We have already done the testing to make sure the LED bulbs or any LED kit for that matter that you buy from us has the proper lighting display for the correct application... The LED reverse bulbs need to emit the light straight back or they can be worse than the OEM incandescent bulbs!

NOTE: Our 1156 LED reverse bulbs are the same price as they are on that site! ;)

So, GNS,

It's good to see you've done all the leg work so others don't have to. If and when I were to decide to change my lighting system it wasyour products I would likely want to use.

Squid4life gave an incredible endorsement about a year ago and I definately paid attention.

I can, however, say I've dealt with Superbrightled.com in the past and had very good results.

I was only passing along experiences I have had with them in the past.

I'd rather use a known TB vendor before others, and I've seen many positive reviews of your products.

It's not as if anyone here was trying to disuade the OP from buying from you.

If someone feels I don't support and buy almost exclusively from the vendors on this board, please, come on right here and tell be about it, I dare any one of you to do so. I'll prove you wrong in a heartbeat.

It only seems the OP was looking for multiple options and he was successful in finding a few.

I gotta say, I hate coming on here and posting something only to have my ass jumped by a vendor who feels he's somehow been slighted.

Jeeze Loueez GNS, I think you should know, you pretty much just lost a potential customer in me,, and I don't care who you know, the politics on this board sometimes boder on idiocy. And to think, I was really excited about your products...... Politics be damned!!!!!

With all due respect,
I never came on here to jump Anyone and I am sorry you took it that way but it couldn't be farther from the truth!
I never quoted anyone at all, nor was anyone even mentioned in my post.
I was simply stating the facts about the bulbs we sell and my experience in researching them. I never tried to sway the OP of buying from anyone either.
I never said Superbrightled was a bad company to deal with, Hell I even had good dealings with them too. Just that they (Chinese companies) change out there product line too often!
I never said anything about people here Not supporting the vendors either, I simply posted up "to support us vendors who support the board", nothing was ever directed to anyone!

Sorry I posted info and another option....

OK, your point is well taken and I understand where you are coming from. We've agreed to disagree.

If I do change the lighting on my car, you would still be my first choice, provided you would still deal with me.

I guess it's Cal's turn now.......

OK,

Now it's Cal's turn.......
All I intended to do was give useful information to people when buying LED's, NOT to stear them away from doing so!
I never came here to jump your azz for posting either, I have no idea where that or the other thoughts came from....But it's not true!

Next time I will keep my testing and results to myself and not post it to help others out.

I'm a HUGE supporter of the vendors here. Always have been , always will be.

My intent with my first comment was no different than yours, but it wasn't piggy backed on another vendors angry little emoticom, and that's the point I'm trying to convey here.

I have absolutely NOTHING agaist you, your stuff is really cool.

It's the politics that bug me here, not yours or Cal's opinions.

I just wish you guys could see that.

Our cars are now over 25 years old and as someone who uses this board and it's supporting vendors 99% of the time, as I do, I ask you, why is it "against the rules" to go outside the box when sourcing parts and services? Can you explain to me why this is? I just can't understand the thought process behind this thinking. The OP said he KNEW you sold a set, so he's obviously researched it a bit and was looking for/at another option.

This thread has been officially hijacked with this conversation, and I apologize.

Let's either start a new thread, or get out of this one. I've said my peice, you can PM me with further comments.

Apologies to the OP.

Cal quoted someone who said if a vendor has them and the price is right support the vendor. I don't see the problem with that. Now if the vendor has them but the price is noticeably higher then do what you need to do.

I guess it's Cal's turn now.......

My turn for what? An explination for the  symbol?
It was my impression the OP wasn't looking for another vendor, but was asking if "anyone had them" to find out more detaills. What prompted my post was when others mentioned ebay sites and when highboostgn initially stated "ebay" and not "vendor" (unless I misread it). Either way, I'm not changing my feeling about this matter. I do get upset when someone says to go to ebay for a product that a vendor has invested his time and money on. I field calls all the time from potential customers wanting help with a combination of products they bought elsewhere (if it's tuning, I charge them for this assistance). Was this the explaination you were looking for?

I wasn't looking for an explanation. You made your opinion crystal clear.

I just figured you might have something to say about my differing opinion on the unwritten TB.com "rule" that if you're gonna buy something for your TB, it better be from a vendor here or risk being scolded by someone here who feels they know better than you do what is good for you, your car and your budget.

In re-reading some of my above posts it does seem I came off as a prick and I apologize to both you and Scott for that.

I bought my car from a supporting vendor here, 99% of the parts on my car came from supporting vendors and when I have the opportunity to, I try to recommend the supporting vendors on here.

I get it. I just don't agree with seeing someone get, for lack of a better term, "internet bullied" because he decides to go a different way and posts up what he did on this site.
You know it happens here all the time.

I guess I just let my frustration with it get the best of me. The worst part of all of it is wasn't even a good example of the behaviour.

I hope this clears the air a little.
Guy Cunningham.

I don't know what happened to my thread! I prefer to buy from venders here. I have bought my LED tails and 3rd brakelight from Scott (and he had helped me over the phone for a while). I watch my cholesterol, try to conserve water, love my wife and believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is my personal Savior:) BUT I just want to know:
DOES ANYONE HAVE LED 1156 BULBS INSTALLED ON THEIR CAR?
I am looking for personal feedback, not websites or commentaries.

I came across these and they look pretty bada$$:

Now dems be BRIGHT. I need some and a switch for when the situation arises that another motorist might need to know their brights are on and I don't appreciate it.
