I just had my car painted and I'm contemplating leaving that curved molding off of the back part of the hood. Not sure if would look cleaner without it.
Does anyone NOT run that piece? More curious than anything

I don't run it. Looks fine imop

Are you talking about the molding at the base of the windshield? I just did the ac firewall delete and had to temporarily remove the molding. Something got shifted and now it bows out a little and catches the wiper. I didn't think about removing it, will definitely have to consider that now.

No, the molding on the hood itself. Basically right above where you are speaking of, just on the hood

After pan tjng my car I didn't reinstall the hood, trunk, or wheel mouldings. The car looks fine without them as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks. I pretty much am doing the same. The only trim I do have on is the trunk trim and that's only because it ties in with the tail lights. The hood trim doesn't tie in with anything. Wondering why it's even there.

got rid of mine and filled the lowered part then painted the hood looks alot better.

I would be interested in buying one of these hood moldings. Anyone?
