Dear sir,

I am an international business man, specialised in dealing, purchasing and selling of autos in AFRICA.I also help my foreign client to ship there goods and autos to any place of there desired country or destination, most especially EUROPE, cause i have a shipper who takes care of the shipment, so shipping will not pose any problem.

Presently i have a client who has asked me to help him purchase the item subjected above which will be shipped to EUROPE. As i was browsing through the internet, i saw your advert and i will like to purchase it for my client, but before payment will be made i need to be sure of who i will be dealing with if you are going to be honest and sincere throughout the transaction.

So to start with, signify your interest by forwarding to me your last offer (PRICE) as well as your method(s) of payment through mail, after which we can continue with the transaction and i promise if all conditions and agreement are accepted and reached on time, payment will be made out almost immediately.hoping to here from you as soon as possible.

Respectfully,

SAMUUEL-MARTINS.

DO NOT DO IT, IT IS A SCAM. I DIDN'T READ ALL OF IT, BUT AS SOON AS I SAW " INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS " AND " AFRICA " I WANTED TO WARN YOU....

This guy is laying by a pool with a couple of blondes in Socal, sipping a drink with an umbrella in it and getting ready to make a movie...

:D

Anyone with those kind of grammar and spelling issues is not a 'gentleman' of any kind. That Africa scam....I can't believe there are still those out there attempting it..... Don't even respond.

These guys crack me up. I put my 87 Cutl@ss for sale on this board and a few other spots online. Within a few days I had a half dozen emails from these Int'l guys who wanted it. Some of the best reasons were "My son has been looking for this exact car all of his life, it is his dream car, it will be the perfect xmas present..." Keep in mind were talking about my half primered 87 Oldsmobile beater:confused: I should dig up them emails they were kind of funny the stories they told. I emailed em all back and told em basically to f|_|ck off! Wish we could nab all them MF'ers

I friend was selling an old mopar race car shell and got a similar email. "My associate who owes me money will bring a cashiers check for 5K, you send me a refund of 4k.........". He replied back, "Have your associate bring me 1000.00 in US cash and make sure he brings a trailer for the car at the same time."

Funny, he never heard from the guy again.

I e-mailed him back and said you show up in person with the money in US dallors or you can run it up or azz !!

This brings back bad memories from this past summer.

Selling my BMW 635 on the BMW board got almost the exact response. I thought it was a scam but told them to send me a certified cashiers check on a US bank. Surprise! Got the check for $4000 more than the purchase price. I smelled scam and took it to my bank and asked them to verify it. Guess what? They told me that check was good and cashed it for me. I deposited the amount for the car and sent the rest to the "shipping company" in Texas. One week later, when they were supposed to pick up the car, The check came back as counterfeit. My bank pulls the full amount out of my account to cover the check...I am out $4000.00 of my savings because they didn't verify the check like I asked them.

Needless to say lawyers are involved as well as the FBI, Secret Service and now a complaint to the FDIC. Bank is still not budging stating they did everything they were supposed to.

Bottom line: Don't trust a cashier's check, and don't believe your bank will ever back you on a disagreement.

Sold the car for cash about three weeks later. Still out of the 4g's.

Mike
