Picking up some Dom tubing for some frame bracing after the notch what size and thickness should I use? The shop has 1 5/8 .134 will that work ok?

Is it to thick I can probably get .120 wall I think they had some also.

The .120 would be good. The .134 is probably to insure they pass the sonic test by the NHRA rollbar police. Some .120 is "skinny" at various places.

Weight can be a consideration.
The 0.134 wall weighs 2.14 lbs/ft nominal.
The 0.120 wall weighs 1.93 lbs/ft.
As mentioned before, if you're trying to pass an Nhra inspection, I'd go 134 to have the extra wall. If not, use the 120; it'll be plenty strong. Hope it's American made!!!
