DP compatibility question....

Did a search and couldn't find the answer to my question... Does anyone have any idea what 3" internal wastegate downpipe will fit the ATR-style GN1Performance headers?? Archie sells DP's, but not internal wastegated ones. I may need one to pass visual smog if the tech snivels about my external WG DP from GN1. Any ideas?? Even one that is close that I can modify would help. TIA for everyone's help.

new im not aware of any internal gate pipes that clear atr headers
is a TH style stock looking enough for an emmision visual? . the atr 3" houston style dp cleared them
you may find used if you post in parts wanted or search for sale threads
atr also made a 2.5 stainless stock style pipe that used the stock elbow ,cleared the atr headers and should pass a visual


some of terry houstons cleared but not all but with a little persuasion you could dimple the pipe and make it work . with the numerous houston style copies out there its hard to say if one you find will clear until you try it or buy if from a seller that used it with atr headers, my houston style mease pipe looked like it would clear but wouldn't and i have a cottons external that wont clear them ,
and those GN1 pipes will clear the headers but they swing out way too far and will require trimming of your fender liner other wise if you just install and run it you can watch it burn the clearance needed , i would swap in a NA regal passenger wheelhouse before i would run the gn1 pipes... turbo liners are different and not easy to find replacements

Thanks for the reply. I sort of expected it to be a crap shoot as to whether a TH or ATR-knockoff DP would fit the GN1 headers. Maybe Brian's GBodyparts DP would work. He has lots of good pix for me to gaze at and speculate, LOL.

Anyone else have any thoughts??

Got mine from South East Turbo. They make 3" Stainless internally gated DP's....offer two styles 1) DP for stock & TA Performance headers, etc 2) & another version DP with a longer sweep that will clear both ATR / Kenne Bell headers. Just gotta specify which one you want when ordering.

I even had him weld on an o2 bung and Jet Hot 2000 Coat mine before he shipped it out to me!

It's been a couple of years since I bought it. Not sure if SE Turbo are still around?
