Hello;
Checked the fuel pressure while driving and under boost, no change
the 38 static pressure I have at idle. I haven't physically checked the
cat convertor, not quite sure how, but I do have exhaust pressure
at tailpipes, although it seemed kinda week. As far as adjusting tv cable,
once again not quite sure how to do that. Thanks for all the input!

I also checked the wastegate and the puck moved when i pulled the arm and the connector from the downpipe had free movement in the 6-9 position.
Would a bad wastegate solonoid cuase the problem i'm having?

If you mean that your fuel pressure did not go up one pound for every pound of boost then you have found your problem. That would mean that as you run more boost you're getting less fuel and you're detonating the crap out of your engine.

Hey Black Bandit;
I believe I had/have several problems going on at once. Took car out for a test run, same thing, no power when accelerating. When I got back home I went in house for approx. five minutes and when I came back out tried to start car and it was dead! I jumpstarted it and then
checked alternator with voltmeter, only 8 volts! Took it to auto parts
store and they tested it, only 8 volts! I just bought that alternator
only 3 weeks ago, a Delco-Remy. Exchanged it for a new one, hooked it
back up and what a difference! Ran really good at first but then started
to hesitate/stumble when accelerator applied sharply, but not all the time.
I let it sit awhile and took it out again and stumble only happens after car
is driven awhile and warms up, but it has a lot more power now and is
way more responsive EXCEPT for that stumble and it backfired a couple times
also. It threw a 23 code a couple times, MAT sensor, I re-set computer and it cleared the code. I thought I read on a post one time that a code 23
MIGHT indicate a mal-functioning computer. I felt computer and it was HOT!
How hot are they supposed to get? I'm really close to getting this car
back to driving condition and want to thank everybody for their help!
