Yesterday this car was covered with dust in the same spot that it has been for about 3 years now. I bought the car from the family of the original owner a while back, it has the original paint and all of the original equipment in place (with the exception of the weld wheels). After rebuilding the alternator and charging the battery it was back on the road. I've had 2 offers in 24 hours to buy it but I'm really enjoying just driving this old this thing.

Nice looking Regal! (y) It deserves to have new bumper fillers. ;)

Thank you.....yes it definitely needs front and rear fillers.

A trip to Lowes early this morning reminded me of how many people of such different backgrounds and ages like the cars.

i used to see one just like it in a town i used to live in.. same color, same trim, same missing bumper filler, except it still had the stock 14" steel wheels with hubcaps on it... an older couple would drive it around on Sunday afternoons, but i never saw it leave their driveway on any other day. i never asked them about it, but they did wave at me a few times when i drove past them in my T Type. i assume it had the regular 231 and a 3 speed auto trans in it..

It's actually a combo that I wasn't familiar with when purchasing it. The owners said it was a v-8 and I really didn't care what it was I just liked the clean body. After driving it home I discovered that it was a 4.1 v6 with a lock-up 350 trans.
