so basically this guy likes to have his feet run over by a pickup truck while he plays the "air trombone" on his ding-a-ling.

Memphis just got crossed out from my places to visit list.

There are reasons MUCH worse than that to cross Memphis off of your list.
 
That was at Memphis Motorsports Park. It was one of the nicest drag strips ive ever been to. Based on the performance of the cars there that weekend the prep was excellent to. The locals appear to have some kind of brain damage though.

Yep, great strip but everything else around it sucks. We always stay well out of town. Never pull your trailer back to the hotel if you plan to keep it. There are more trailer thefts there than anywhere else.

Perhaps you should grab hold of a sense of humor. ;)

Overall, IMO, Memphis is a sh!thole. Granted, opinions are subjective. But I can assure you I'm not alone with my opinion of the place. That said, is ALL of Memphis horrible? No. There are some small decent areas. But as a whole, it's far from great.

That's not a slam against your son, daughter-in-law or granddaughter. Nor was the post by Black Power. What he said was called a joke.

Now on the off chance your post was sarcastic, disregard this post of mine. :D

Did you have to respond to the house fire where the 2 small children were burned up? There was video showing the Aunt saying nothing about feeling sorry for the children, but she sure needed to get back inside and find her purse because it had her foodstamp card in it.
