I have just finished the dual feed mod in my latest build. This is only the 2nd one I've done like this and 1st of my own. The 2-3 shift feels harder than the 1-2 and 3-4 also not as clean. Is this a normal characteristic of this? I don't believe I have the bind up issue going on. I have a new CK plate with no mods to it other than what CK did.

Before the 2-3 was not as firm as the 1-2 or 3-4. This with a big servo and 9X11 TC.
 
That is how you completely eliminate calibration related 3rd clutch failure with big power.You cannot apply the high clutch any faster .When you eliminate the stock bind up it shifts like a 400 going into high gear.Leaving off the inner servo spring will mellow it out a bit.Bison and Jake shoe know the results with the 3rd correction kit .
 
Chris, are you dual feeding all your higher horspower 200-4r's?

I gotten some mixed feeling on this.

Yes but also doing the mod to the 3/2 control valve.Most people here dual fed and didnt drill the hole in the drum and then complained when it didnt work right.Using the 3/2 control mod,dual feed,and new plate is the answer.Not necessary to drill drum anymore unless engine goes over 6000 rpm .This stops the retainer from spinning out in the drum from partial apply.

Ok that's what I was looking for,it's not too bad just different. Definately something I can live with.
 
What is different?It shifts firmer and faster than any thing else youve felt previously?
 
Down the line time can be spent making smaller feed holes but here is how I have come to view it.Kit works excellent up to 400 hp with new plate.Up to 450 dual feed,over 450 dual feed and install 3/2 control valve spring.Ill detune the plate at some point in the future but right now I am confident that cars over 550 600 hp wont kill the high clutches in 30 runs.We also have a new tv boost valve .555" and a WEAKER pr spring coming out.
