Did some dyno pulls & just to see what would happen I did a couple with the conv. locked. Gained 23 HP locked & gained 32 lbs. torque.

Can someone explain this please without getting too deep.;)

its simple. the hp of the motor didn't change. dynos are simply put stupid computers, all they know is how much power your using to spin them. you could change rear end gears and affect your hp. basically if it affects how the wheels turn it will affect what a chassis dyno sees.

when you locked the converter you weren't loosing hp in the converter. more of the engines power was making it to the rear wheels.

simple enough?

I realized it would be a little more just didn't think it would be that much.

it is, i think they slip between 15 and 20% i've gained 3/10ths at the track locking mine.
